I'm not really sure what to say. Insurgent is blowing my mind. I absolutely love Insurgent. It's soooo...... amazing.
Insurgent starts right where Divergent left off. After the simulation attack, Tris and the others headed to Amity to ask for help. When Tris overheard the conversation between Marcus and Johanna, she realized that there's must be another reason behind the attack, a reason that makes Abnegation leaders willing to die to protect it. She's determined to find out the secret that Marcus hide. But it's not easy, because Tris had to hide from Jeanine, especially after a person she trusted betrayed her.
I love so many things about the book. I love the plot. The book is written in fast pace. It's full of action and very intense. The tension always keep me on the edge. The book so unpredictable. The twists and turns make me can't stop read until the last page. Even after I finished Insurgent, I can't stop thinking about the book especially the ending. In this book, we can also learn more about factionless and minor faction in Divergent.
Insurgent has so many great characters and I love them (even the evil characters). I love Tris. I love how strong she is, even after what she'd been through. She had to struggle with her sadness and guilt, but she still can be brave and selfless. And I'm totally swooning over Tobias Eaton (Actually, I prefer to call him Four). He is so caring. I like how Tris and Four's relationship develops. It's not always sweet, they also had to face the obstacle in their relationship, like their trust issues. Insurgent also has so many interesting minor characters, like Christina, Peter, Uriah and Caleb. We can also find new characters, like Fernando and Evelyn.
I cant wait to read he final book. I have very high expctations for the book and I hope it would be worth the wait. If you haven't read Divergent yet, what are you waiting for? You really should start it NOW or you would regret it.
I give Insurgent 5 out of 5 stars.
