Goodreads Description :
Charlie is happiest when biking with Max and Toby, or watching films with Allie. But when Charlie reaches year nine (age 13), everything begins to change.

As her friends develop new interests, Charlie's dreams become more frequent and vivid, and a family crisis tears her away from her friends.

How will Charlie react when old family secrets are revealed? Will her life change completely when some of her dreams start to come true?

My Thought :
Charlie is a 13 years old girl who have three best friends, two boys (Max and Toby) and a girl (Allie). Unlike any other girls her age who loves to shopping or talking about boys, she always prefer to do something sporty, like riding a bike or climbing with Max and Toby. When Allie shows her interest in boys, Charlie starts to see the world in new pespective. She becomes more aware of how her friends start to develop feeling for the opposite sex.  She also starts to have a vivid dream that seems to related with her real life. She thinks that there must be some meaning behind all of her vivid dream and she tries to figure that out. When her aunt falls ill and her parents have to look after her aunt, Charlie spends more of her time at her aunt's house where she find out old family secrets.

I received the book two days ago from the author and devour it immediately. The story is quite good, I enjoy it. It's about friendship and family. I love how the relationship between the characters develop because that seems relevant to teenager's real life. If you want to read a simple and easy read for teenager, you can definitely read this one.

I give When Dreams Come True 3 out of 5 stars.
