Goodreads Description :
THE SOCIETY CHOOSES EVERYTHING.

THE BOOKS YOU READ
THE MUSIC YOU LISTEN TO.
THE PERSON YOU LOVE.

Yet for Cassia the rules have changed. Ky has been taken and she will sacrifice everything to find him.

And when Cassia discovers Ky has escaped to he wild frontiers beyond the Society there is hope.

But on the edge of society nothing is as it seems . . .

A REBELLION IS RISING.

And a tangled web of lies and double-crosses could destroy everything.

My Thought :
Crossed is the second book in Matched series. In Crossed, Cassia is taken to camp near the Outer Provices. Meanwhile in Outer Province, Ky along with the others abberation try to survive from the bombs that are dropped by the enemy every night. By the time Cassia find a way to the outer province, Ky already escaped with the other abberations. But, they still try to find each other. Would they finally find each other?

The book is written in two POV. Actually it's a good thing, because we can see the society from the other perspective. But sometimes it's confusing because I often forgot whose POV I've read. Crossed is written in slow pace and we wouldn't find too much action. But, the author's beautiful and poetic writing style  make us want to read book until the very last page.

Crossed also has amazing characters. We can see how much Cassia's changed, but sometimes she makes me frustated. Ky is so mature, and I love to get a glimpse into his mind so I can understand him better. I also like Xander. It looks like that Xander is not who I think he is, he has so much secrets. He's more complicated than I think, and I love him for that. After reading the book, I have so many unanswered questions and I can't wait to find the answer in the next book.

I give Crossed 4 out of 5 stars.
