I've already read the book before but it's a long time ago. So, reading this book is like taking a trip down  memory lane. I remember the first time I read and watch Harry Potter, I though it's so great and magical. Before Harry Potter, I've never read a fantasy book as great as this one. But even if I've read the book before, I've never reviewed it. So this is my first review for the book.

Harry Potter was about a boy who lived with his horrible aunt, uncle and cousin. Every day was like hell for him. Until one day, he received a letter from Hogwarts. His uncle did everything he could so Harry couldn't read the letter. But his efforts were in van when Hagrid came to give the letter to Harry. From Hagrid, Harry know that he wasn't ordinary boy. He was a wizard and he was really famous (more than  he ever thought). After the secret revealed, Harry went to Hogwarts. In Hogwarts, he met new friends. Together with them, Harry would experience the adventure he never imagined.

Harry Potter had a great storyline. J.K. Rowling know how to put a story together and make the story more interesting with the adventure and mystery in it. And as we know, this book had so many great characters that made story more alive. Each character had their own charm and I love all of them (even the evil one). In this book, we met most of them for the first time. For me, first impression is one of important things from a story. I like how the author intoduces each of characters in this book.

One more thing I love about the book is the magic world the author created. After read the book, I always think how great my life would be if I could do some magic. Just wave the wand and I could move a thing, or just wave the wand and I could change a thing into something else. And let's not forget about the portrait. Imagine when a portrait could move and talk to you. It's a little bit creepy, but amazing.

This is the book I'm highly recommend to everyone. If you've never read the book before, then what are you waiting for (and dont forget to watch the movie).
